X-Arm Advantages
| There are a number of obvious and some not so obvious benefits to using X-arm mount: Glare on the TV screen from sunlight can be deflected by simply swiveling, and/or tilting the TV to a different direction. Depending on whether the viewer is sitting on the floor or sitting aside from the TV, the viewing angle of the TV can be adjusted so that it is normal to the viewer to provide clearest picture as possible. A flat panel TV can be mounted in a remote location without the worry of having to manually adjust the viewing angle of the TV. A TV can be viewed extended 12 inches from the wall so that the TV looks bigger. For instance, a 50 inch TV that is 12 inches closer to a viewer will actually look more like a 55 inch TV. With manual wall mounting units, a viewer has to hold onto the TV to adjust its viewing angle. With X-arm mount, however, there is never a need to grab on to the TV to adjust the viewing angle. X-Arm is designed to handle heavier and bigger size TVs between 40" and 63" weighing up to 180 pounds. What is unique about X-arm is that it can retract the TV so that it is only 4.6" from the wall and extend the TV about 12" from the wall. Once extended, X-Arm can swivel a 42" TV left and right 28° each way (total of 56°), and tilt the TV up 7° and down 20° (total of 27°). |
